Increasingly, studies are showing that adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) influence the health and well-being of a person throughout their lifespan. Yet, there is paucity of information in the literature regarding strategies to teach medical students how to screen for ACEs and be responsive to the needs of vulnerable populations that are impacted by ACEs.
